Theatre6 has a strong belief in the power of theatre to educate and inspire.
We aim to engage both young people and adults with practical opportunities to write, perform and create as part our programme.

We are currently resident theatre company at Cricket Green School in Mitcham. Theatre6 runs a highly successful youth theatre on site which meets every Tuesday afternoon. The youth theatre currently has 15 active members with a wide range of abilities. They have been involved in productions in and around Merton in 2016.
Invigor8 Mitcham
Winter 2013
Throughout the winter of 2013, Theatre6 launched the Invigor8 Mitcham project.
Invigor8 Mitcham allowed a variety of free artistic activities for the local community, as pop up events in a disused shop in Mitcham town centre, generously donated by HHS Hire.
The objective was to help rejuvenate the high street and garner first hand, current evidence for the artistic aspirations of the local community.
The project was a huge success, engaging 28 artists to develop and showcase work throughout Invigor8, with a total of 46 individual opportunities and 27 showcases and events across the entire project. 322 audience members took part over the entire Invigor8 programme with 100% praising Invigor8 and the array of artistic activities on offer.
The project was funded by the London Borough of Merton and Department for Community and Local Government High Street Innovation Fund.
